Grema Sulaiman Ahmad

Founder and Chairman, Centre for Energy Investment and Innovation

We’re creating a conducive environment for innovation, investment, and knowledge sharing, significantly contributing to the growth and development of the energy industry.

Grema Sulaiman Ahmad is the Founder and Chairman of the Centre for Energy Investment and Innovation, an African energy industry leader dedicated to building sustainable economic frameworks across the Global South. At CEII he architects frameworks that bridge international capital, state policy and local energy infrastructure. Before CEII he built BuyFuel, one of Africa’s first e-commerce ventures to digitalise retail downstream fuel logistics. He conceptualised the Nigeria Energy Transition Fund (NETFUND), a blended-finance blueprint that positions domestic gas as a transition fuel while scaling decentralised renewables, and he works with international financial institutions and regulators to promote a just energy transition for developing economies. He holds a foundation in communications and executive credentials in innovation strategy and leadership.
